1. Tickets
- The sale of tickets will commence on 3rd March 2009 at 10.00 A.M.
- Tickets are sold in order of receipt of orders until the auditoriums are filled.
- Before the advance sales commence, reservations are made for honorary guests, advertising partners and sponsors. Unused reservations will be put on open sale on 2nd May 2010.
- Advance sales will be carried out by the TICKETPORTAL network and the Smetana's Litomysl ticket office. Tickets may be:
- Purchased at the Smetana's Litomysl ticket office or at a Ticketportal point of sale (please go to SALES POINTS or call + 420 224 091 439 or +420 461 616 070 to obtain info on your nearest point of sale).
- Purchased on-line at www.ticketportal.cz After payment by credit card, the tickets can be picked up at any point of sale or sent by post. However, you can also print them by yourself (HOMEticket) or have them texted to your mobile phone via SMS (MOBILticket).
- Reserved on-line (www.ticketporteal.cz).
- Ordered by telephone on number +420 461 616 070 (workdays from 9AM to 5PM) .

or in writing at Smetanova Litomysl, o.p.s., Jiráskova 133, 570 01 Litomysl, Czech Republic. Please specify: the title of the performance, number of tickets required, sector (and second-choice sector), method of payment (cash on purchase, invoice, cash on delivery), address and telephone number. Orders made in writing will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis following the commencement of advance sales, and it is not possible to guarantee the complete fulfilment of each order.
- The following rules apply on all reservations:
With one reservation, it is possible to book a maximum of 10 tickets per performance. The tickets can be subsequently picked up at any point of sale or sent by post. Should you ask for them to be posted, the tickets will be sent via registered mail within 10 days COD, or after receiving the payment of the advance invoice.
Tickets can be sent abroad only after receiving the payment of the advance invoice; COD is not available for sending abroad.
Postage costs will be added to the price of tickets sent by post.
- For purchasing online, you must register first with the system at REGISTRATION. We strongly recommend to register prior to the commencement of the advance sales.
- Reserved tickets must be purchased at least 60 minutes prior to the commencement of the performance. Unclaimed tickets will be released for open sale.
- All remaining tickets will be placed on open sale 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the performance at the concert venue.
- Purchased tickets may not be returned or changed.
- Customers have the right to have their tickets refunded only when the performance is cancelled or uncompleted due to adverse weather conditions or other act of God and the programme has not run for at least at least 20 minutes. Refund claims should be made at the place of purchase of the ticket. Postage costs will not be refunded.
- Ticket forgery is illegal and offenders will be prosecut.
2. Concessions, V.I.P. tickets
- Reduction of 50% is given to disabled and visually impaired persons and their guides. The card must be shown together with the concessionary ticket on entry to the concert venue. Places in the sector reserved for wheelchair users have a special price and no concessions are available. The number of such tickets is limited.
- The organiser provides quantity discounts to trading companies for tickets destined for further sale of 10% on purchase of tickets to a value exceeding 10,000 CZK and 20% on purchase of tickets to a value exceeding 30,000 CZK.
- For certain performances it is possible to purchase V.I.P. tickets, the price of which includes refreshments prior to the commencement of the performance and during intermissions in V.I.P. centre, and access to the after show party. - The sale of remaining tickets at reduced price will commence on 7 June, 2010. The amount of reduction may vary per performance and reduced tickets may not be available for all performances.
3. Entry to festival events
- Visitors to events must respect the rules of the organisers and fire wardens.
- It is forbidden to bring into any festival areas recording equipment, cameras or video cameras. It is strictly forbidden to make sound, film, photographic or video recordings even for personal use.
- It is forbidden to bring flammable materials into or kindle a flame in the auditorium.
- It is forbidden to bring domestic animals into the auditorium.
- Visitors under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted to festival performances.
- Due to the nature of the event and length of performance entry for children under the age of ten is not recommended.
- Visitors who disturb the programme by talking loudly or behaving inappropriately will be escorted from the auditorium and will not have the right to claim a ticket refund.
- It is forbidden to use mobile telephones or to smoke during performances. During intermissions it is permitted to smoke only in designated areas.
- Performances that are held in the II Castle Courtyard take place in the open air and may be adversely influenced by the weather (cold, rain). The festival organisers recommend that visitors take this into consideration when selecting their clothing. The courtyard is covered by a roof, and the programme will not be affected by light rain. Seats in sector C are not completely under cover and may be affected by rainfall
- Entry to the auditorium is permitted one hour prior to the beginning of the performance. We recommend that you take your seats in good time, 10 minutes at the latest prior to the beginning of the performance. After commencement of the performance entry to the auditorium will only be permitted during official intermissions.
4. General conditions
- Visitors hereby express assent that photographs, films or video recordings made during the course of a performance or in conjunction with it, may be assessed using any current or future technical methods, without financial compensation and without time or spatial limit.
- The organisers of the festival reserve the right to amend the concert or performance casting or concert venue. The organisers reserve the right to make amendments to the programme.
- According to the Data Protection Act 101/2000 Coll. Smetana's Litomysl, o.p.s. guarantees that any personal data provided shall be treated as strictly confidential and will not be sold or transmitted to a third party. All personal data are secret and will be used only for purposes linked with the organisation of the Smetana's Litomysl festival.
- During the festival guided tours of the Litomysl state castle will be limited. We recommend that groups arrange guided tours in advance (tel. +420 461 615 067).
